Proper preparation is the key to achieving your best tan. We recommend exfoliating the night before your tan to remove dead skin cells and create a smooth, even surface.

Avoid showering within 3 hours of applying your Bronzing Foam, as freshly showered skin can temporarily alter your skin's pH, which may affect how your tan develops. Before application, ensure your skin is clean, dry and free from moisturisers, perfumes and deodorants.

Your tan will typically last between 5–7 days, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare routine. To help keep your glow looking its best for longer, moisturise daily and use a tan-friendly body wash, such as our TANtoner Body Wash.

For your best results, use the following as a general guide:

• 2 hours for a light, sun-kissed glow.

• 4 hours for a medium bronze.

• 8 hours for a dark result.

After showering, your tan will continue to develop for up to 24 hours, revealing your final colour.

Yes. Our Self-Tanning Mousse is suitable for all skin tones. The depth of colour will vary depending on your natural complexion and how long you leave the mousse on before showering, allowing you to achieve anything from a light, sun-kissed glow to a deeper bronze.

During the development period, some transfer onto light-coloured clothing or bedding may occur. We recommend wearing loose, dark clothing while your tan develops. Once you have showered after the recommended development time, your tan should no longer transfer under normal wear.

Don't worry! If you notice a streak while you're applying your tan, simply add a small amount of Bronzing Foam to your tanning mitt and gently blend the area until it's even. The fresh Bronzing Foam helps the mitt glide smoothly over the skin, making it easy to blend the tan without creating patchiness.

If you've already showered and notice you've missed a spot, simply apply a small amount of Bronzing Foam to the area using a blending brush, gently buff the edges with your tanning mitt to blend it seamlessly into the surrounding tan, and leave it on for the same development time as your original application.
